Mirroring

Through the glass the fluid contains,
Wildness and beauty far from home.
Ultramarine and Han Purple.
Floating effortlessly.
A regal form looking out.

How deep do you see?
There is no way to know.
Is it offensive to confine,
Such beauty and grace?
Not so uncommon, I know.

Worry not, my friend.
I feel you as you me.
We exist apart,
Yet boredom we share.
True freedom eludes us.

Coexisting in worlds,
Separate but equal.
In your features,
So different and foreign,
I see my own reflection.
